Jim Carrey caused absolute carnage during a recent appearance on a live chat show – the latest in a series of bizarre interviews by the actor and comedian.
As well as starting the interview on the Norm MacDonald Live podcast with his back to the camera, he peeled the sign down from the set and ran about.
They discuss the actor’s early comedy career, there are some celebrity impressions, we find out his thoughts on Donald Trump… Oh and ‘sexual alchemy’, tantric sex, and how Carrey has ‘crossed the river of tears’ into a new ego-free life. Obviously.

He also explained, as he has in previous interviews, how he is ‘erasing’ himself:
I’m erasing myself, like, I’m not even f*cking here right now.
I don’t exist, I have no needs, I don’t need you people.
None of it, nothing.
I don’t need approval from anybody.
And because everybody was wondering, Carrey explains who Macdonald really is:

Norm Macdonald is a name, he has a religion, he has a nationality, he has a hockey team that he loves.
These are the fucking abstract f*cking building blocks that he cobbles together into some sort of pseudo-f*cking-personality that can be identified by the police!

During the interview, Carrey revealed fellow Batman Forever actor Tommy Lee Jones actually ‘hated’ him and described a meeting they had at a restaurant during filming.
He said:

I went over and I said, ‘Hey Tommy! How you doing?’ like that.
And the blood just drained from his face, like he had been thinking about me 24 hours.
It was before the biggest scene we have together in a movie and the blood just drained from his face and he started shaking and he said, ‘I hate you. I really don’t like you.’
And I said, ‘Gee, man, what’s the problem?’
And I pulled up a chair, which probably wasn’t smart, and he said, ‘I cannot sanction your buffoonery’.
I was the star, and that was the problem.

Recent Carrey interviews has led people to make comparisons with Charlie Sheen, who famously once described himself as a ‘warlock’ with ‘tiger blood’.
Much like Charlie, the eccentric 55-year-old comedic actor has put forward some unusual ideas about his own identity, stating: ‘There is no me, no self. Jim Carrey is gone.’

Jim went on to explain how ‘Jim Carrey’ never even existed in the first place.
He said:
Actually he [Jim Carrey] never existed, and I know that now.
So I’m able to take gigantic chances with this thing that people know as Jim Carrey.

The purpose of the interview was for Jim to try and explain his actions during a recent New York Fashion Week interview, where he straight up told reporter Kat Sadler she didn’t exist.
He told her:
There’s no meaning to any of this.
So I wanted to find the most meaningless thing that I could come to and join and here I am.
Who knows where, if he does exist, Carrey even is?
