Cheesecake Factory Chicken and Broccoli Pasta MSPhotographic / Shutterstock
Known for their book of a menu and of course their delightful cheesecake creations, The Cheesecake Factory has released recipes for homestyle versions of some of their most popular dishes, like their chicken and broccoli pasta. Although sadly, none of them are recipes for their famous cheesecake (I would do bad things to get my hands on the secret to their dulce de leche), some of them do incorporate the delightful dairy treat, such as these summer strawberry cheesecake treats.
Chipotle Guacamole Louno Morose / Shutterstock
This guac is not extra! Chipotle must love us as much as we love them because they blessed us with this recipe on Twitter back in April and it’s so simple!
Ingredients:
2 Ripe Hass avocados 2 Tsp lime juice 2 Tbsp cilantro (chopped) 1/4 Cup red onion (diced) 1/2 Jalapeño including seeds (diced) 1/4 Tsp kosher salt
Instructions:
Cut avocados in half and remove pits. Scoop the avocados into a bowl. Toss and coat with lime juice. Add the salt and mash until it’s a smooth consistency. Fold in remaining ingredients and mix.
Pass the tortilla chips, please!
Disney Parks’ Dole Whip Sarah Simoneau / Shutterstock
Drumroll, please. And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The main event. The coup de grâce. Freakin’ Dole Whip, baby! Dole Whip is synonymous with the Magic Kingdom, and making this treat brings a little piece of The Happiest Place On Earth to our homes. To see the recipe for the Enchanted Tiki Room’s pineapple soft-serve, you’ll have to download the Disneyland Resort app or just keep reading 🙂
Ingredients:
1 Big scoop of vanilla ice cream 1/2 Cup (4 ounces) of pineapple juice 2 Cups of frozen pineapple
Instructions:
Add ingredients to a blender and blend until totally smooth. For real Mickey vibes, put it in a pastry bag and squeeze using a star tip.
Now we know this can’t be the real recipe, because the kind at the park is dairy-free. Whip up Dole’s version to see which one tastes more like the real thing! Might as well be our guest and turn on some Disney+, because we’ve got a few more Disney recipes lined up for you.
Disney Parks’ The Grey Stuff Steven Miller / Flickr
“Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious. Don’t believe me? Ask the dishes.” Chefs at Be Our Guest restaurant in Walt Disney World and Red Rose Tavern in Disneyland came up with a crumbled cookies and cream creation mixed with vanilla pudding and whipped cream that really is delicious (because it is straight up sugar!). Tie your napkin ’round your neck, cherie and make you some grey stuff.
Disney Parks’ Mickey Mouse-Shaped Beignets
Unfortunately, these cartoon mice shaped French fried donuts are are practically impossible to make at home. First of all, who has a Mickey Mouse-shaped cookie cutter lying around? Secondly, they call for yeast, which is pretty hard to find these days. If you do get your hands on some, here’s the recipe for Mickey Mouse-shaped beignets.
Disney Parks’ Peanut Butter & Jelly Milk Shake viennetta / Shutterstock
It’s peanut butter jelly time! This PB&J shake is one of the trademark treats at Disney’s 50’s Prime Time Café, but since we aren’t going to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort anytime soon, we’ll just have to make this easy recipe ourselves.
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp peanut butter 2 Tbsp jelly (strawberry or grape) 2 Cups vanilla ice cream 1/4 Cup milk
Directions: Throw ingredients into blender and blend. Add more peanut butter or jelly to taste. Serves one.
Disneyland’s French Toast willmilne / Shutterstock
Since no one’s “going to Disneyland” for a while, we’ll have to cook up some magic at home. What makes French toast magic? Chocolate, peanut butter, and banana.
You can also try this Tonga Toast, a Kona Cafe classic that has also been served at Capt. Cook’s in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for nearly half a century. Released to the public just in time for Mother’s Day, this recipe gets a little complicated when you’re supposed to stuff sourdough with a banana. However, we love the cinnamon sugar twist!
For more sinful carboliciousness, try Toy Story Land’s grilled cheese. Offered at Woody’s Lunch Box in Disney World, this cheesy sammy has four kinds of fromage: Gloucester, provolone, cheddar, and cream cheese! We just want to take a minute to thank Disney for helping us soak up our Quarantine tears with calories.

For Double the Dolly, make this delish pull-apart bread while listening to Dolly Parton’s America podcast.
DoubleTree Chocolate Chip Cookies Mandi J. Donohue / Shutterstock
From Double Ds to Doubletrees. For the first time, we now know why the hotel chain’s cookies are so damn delicious. In addition to the chopped walnuts, they contain rolled oats, a pinch of cinnamon, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Thanks for sharing your secret with us, Doubletree! After a couple dozen of your cookies, we’ll be double our size.
IKEA Meatballs Manu Padilla / Shutterstock
Missing meatballs? IKEA released the recipe for their famous Swedish meat treats with cream sauce in their classic IKEA way, with frustrating, hard to follow assembly instructions. Why hard to follow? Because the recipe is in grams. We’d be happy to convert to ounces for you, but then you’d have to use a scale to measure 1.41096 ounces of butter. Plus, meatballs without Ligonberry jam? Me no think so. Thanks for nothing IKEA!
McDonald’s Sausage and Egg McMuffin N K / Shutterstock
You’d think this would be pretty straight forward, and really unnecessary as McDonald’s drive-thrus are still up and running and most of the ingredients are literally in the title, but McDonald’s UK has actually been closed, so they Tweeted a version of the beloved breakfast classic. Spoiler alert: A free-range egg is cooked in a metal ring for the perfectly McMuffin-shaped circle.
However, they also provided the recipe for the hashbrowns. The image is a little fuzzy, so here goes: Grate a potato into a bowl. Mix in an egg and season with salt and pepper. Heat a “glug” of oil (about 2 tablespoons) in a pan, then add a spoonful of the mix. Flatten and cook until golden brown on both sides. I’m not sure how this one will work, since usually you are told to drain the potato after shredding for hashbrowns.
Panera Meal Ideas Ken Wolter / Shutterstock
Panera actually has a bunch of recipes listed—like pages and pages. (We see you Lemon Herb Lobster Salad on Brioche). Sadly, none of them are for their broccoli and cheddar soup, but luckily, we have a copycat recipe. Also bummed that the Classic Cobb Salad recipe didn’t include instructions for their creamy buttermilk ranch, however, it is available in stores now.
