NewJeans’s Hyein Halts Activities Due To Foot Injury During Practice

NewJeans member Hyein will temporarily suspend her activities after suffering a fracture in her foot during practice

On April 10th, NewJeans’s agency ADOR released a notice regarding the injury of member Hyein through the group’s fan communication app Phoning.

According to the agency, Hyein felt pain in the top of her foot during practice and later discovered a microfracture in her foot after undergoing a thorough examination at the hospital. Following the advice of the medical staff, Hyein will pause her activities for the time being to focus on recovery and recuperation.

Hyein’s group NewJeans will release double singles in Korea and Japan on May 24th and June 21st, respectively. They will also hold their second fanmeeting “Bunnies Camp” at Tokyo Dome for two days on the 26th and 27th of June.

Upon hearing the news of Hyein’s injury ahead of the group’s comeback with activities in both Korea and Japan, fans are cheering for her speedy recovery.
