Sofia Andres slams claims Daniel Miranda’s family doesn’t like her

Sofia Andres is not one to tolerate false claims about her as she dismissed “made-up stories” claiming that the family of her partner Daniel Miranda does not “accept” her as part of them.

The actress addressed this through her Instagram Stories, showing a screenshot of a Reddit post which seemingly speculates about Andres’ absence from the December wedding of Miranda’s brother, Enrique, with Ella Pangilinan.

It can be recalled that Andres, according to Pangilinan, “could not make it last minute” to the wedding due to “important matters.” However, the incident apparently fueled rumors of the actress’ supposedly not-so-good relationship with her future in-laws.

It can be noted as well that Daniel and Enrique are descendants of the Lhuillier family, hence the mention of the lattermost in the Reddit post shared by Andres.

“Lagi niyo na lang akong pinag-uusapan. This will be my first and last post about this. I love Daniel’s family and [vice] versa,” she stated.

“‘Wag naman sana kayo gumawa ng kwento. Hindi lahat ng chismis totoo even on TikTok [and] Reddit,” she stressed. “Hirap niyo ka-bonding but love love.”

Meanwhile, in a separate post, Andres opened up about her experience of being belittled just because she was lacking financial capacity.

“I grew up working hard for the things I have now. Mahirap talaga ‘pag walang pera. ‘Pag wala kang pera, minamaliit ka; tanga ka. May mga tao that will make you feel that you’re nothing and will tell you all your flaws,” she wrote.

“A lot of you were saying, ‘Ah, laos na ‘yan. Ah, manggagamit ‘yan. Ah, hindi pa kasal ‘yan. Ah, may anak lang ‘yan, hindi naman invited ‘yan. I don’t feel comfortable sharing this with you dahil baka sabihin papansin, but this is how I feel and I want you to know that it also bothers me,” she admitted.

Andres further noted that there are truths that have yet to be revealed to the public, but that they will be known in God’s time.

“I am always misunderstood for being so real,” she said. “The right people and my real friends will know. I am not giving [random strangers] their power to destroy me.”

Andres and Miranda share a daughter together named Zoe, whom they welcomed in 2019.
