10. Y.O. Emma Watson Used A Quill During The Filming Of Harry Potter And Here Is The Note She Wrote

Every Harry Potter fan knows who Emma Watson is – she’s the actress that played the smart and witty Hermione Granger in the books’ film adaptations. The first movie in the series was filmed all the way back in 2001 and while the actress was just 10 years old at the time, she already took the role very seriously. And Twitter user lunastonks recently pointed out a small detail in the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone movie that shows just how dedicated the young actress was.

One Twitter user recently pointed out that Emma Watson was actually using a quill during filming and shared her adorable note

During one scene where the students are taking notes using their quills, Emma wasn’t pretending to write – she was actually using it.

Turns out the 10-year-old actress was writing an adorable little note about herself!

It reads: “My name is Emma Charlotte Watson. I am 10 years old and playing the part as Hermione Granger. I am in a Transfiguration. I love this pen (quill). Profsser McGonigal (the cat) (miss peacock) is beautifull is black white. I wish had a cat as a teacher.”

The footage of the note was taken from the behind-the-scenes footage of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone that belongs to the Huntley Film Archives.

In a recent interview with Independent, the actress revealed that becoming famous at a very young age came with a price.

“I’ve sat in therapy and felt really guilty about it. I’m like why me, somebody else would have enjoyed and wanted this aspect of it more than I did,” said the actress. “And I’ve struggled a lot with the guilt around that. I’m like, I should be enjoying this a lot more, I should be more excited and I’m actually really struggling.”
