Actress Kim Sae Ron has broken her social media silence, updating her Instagram for the first time since the news of her DUI incident.
On December 16th, Kim Sae Ron updated her Instagram for the first time since her DUI. The actress shared her new profile pictures, potentially announcing her return to the industry.
Most recently, Kim Sae Ron caused surprise with a series of photos with a short, tomboy-style hairstyle. The child star once boldly cut off her familiar long hair to create a new, more personal and stronger image. It’s unknown whether she will be welcomed back by the audience or not, but Kim Sae Ron’s move to “cut her hair” is enough to become a topic of discussion on social networks.
Previously, Kim Sae Ron was apprehended by police in May of last year after hitting several inanimate objects on the side of the road in the early hours of the morning. The actress was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, and eventually received a sentence of a fine for violation of the Road Traffic Act in April of this year.
In August of this year, Kim Sae Ron starred as the lead in the MV for “Bittersweet.” But even then, she did not break her social media silence. Following her Instagram updates on December 16th, fans showered her with supportive messages asking her to come back as a more mature person while others were skeptical about her return to the industry.
