“Tahanang Pinakamasaya” seemingly bid its goodbye on air after its lead hosts delivered their final message and bow on yesterday’s episode of the noontime variety show.
On Saturday, March 2, “Tahanang Pinakamasaya” trended online after hosts Paolo Contis and Isko Moreno thanked its viewers and Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) Inc. before the show ended earlier that afternoon.
“Anuman ang gawin mo at anumang problemang kakaharapin, do everything for love, ganiyan ang pagmamahal namin sainyo mga Kapuso. Araw-araw kami ni Paolo at ang TP family at TAPE Inc. maghatid ng Tahanang Pinakamasaya sa bawat pamilyang Filipino,” said Moreno as he went on to thank the show’s advertisers and supporters.
Contis echoed his co-host’s sentiments, stressing that TAPE Inc. had been an outlet of entertainment since it retained the show’s name as “Eat Bulaga” until its new name of “Tahanang Pinakamasaya.”
“Maraming maraming salamat po. Isa na namang sabadong hindi natin malilimutan. Ang lahat ng ito ay alay namin para sainyo mula sa pamilya ng TAPE Inc. ang taga hatid ng tulong, saya, at unli sorpresa mula pa ng 1979 sa pamamagitan ng Eat Bulaga hanggang ngayon sa Tahanang Pinakamasaya,” he said.
Due to this, the netizens began to draw the conclusion that it’s the final episode of the variety show and took to social media to share their thoughts.
GMA Network and TAPE Inc. have yet to issue an official statement regarding the closure of the noontime show.
