Singer and songwriter Moira dela Torre is very grateful for what she has been receiving in her career as an artist.
In an interview at the Billboard Philippines Women in Music event last March 22 in Taguig, Moira shared how she felt after receiving the ‘Hitmaker’ award.
“I feel very honored. I think the term hitmaker is something that I don’t think anyone can take lightly and also that term, I don’t think anyone can take full credit for it,” the “Babalik Sa’yo” singer expressed.
She added: “I just feel very blessed to be given this award.”
Moira also shared how excited she was about preparing for her world tour.
“I’m very excited to do it again. This is actually kind of like a part to do with a twist,” she said. “This time it’s real na. We went through a lot of changes. There were a lot of things that were not expected to happen.”
She also revealed that there will be surprises for her fans and concertgoers.
“It will continue to be unfolding as the tour unfolds with it,” she revealed.
Last March 13, Moira announced on her social media pages that she was going on a world tour starting this April with Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia as her first destination. She will also have shows in the USA and Canada.
Along with her world tour, Moira is also excited about releasing her upcoming album.
“I had to go through a lot of growth with it. I remember when we had an interview I was telling you that it was a spiritual album, and it actually really did embody prayer where it was, it really became my album of uncomfortable growth as I really had to go through that process,” Moira said in an interview with MJ Felipe.
She also said that her upcoming album will be something deeper and different from what she has done before.
“I love that it really did because now all the Moira is going to be the most authentic, most vulnerable, most uplifting and most encouraging album I have ever written in my life,” she added.
The singer has been a guest at several events and endorsements lately. She has also become a brand ambassador of a slimming coffee product which had a part in her weight loss journey.
With such a lot on her plate, Moira was asked what the status of her love life was.
“I bloom on my own,” Moira answered.
Although not giving further details, Moira expressed that she’s open to be in a relationship now.
“I’m open, but we’re in the process of my, I don’t know if I can say it. But yes, I’m blooming on my own,” she added.
