Don't rush to throw it away

Restore non-stick pans with fresh milk—simple and effective!

Few would guess that fresh milk can be used to restore the non-stick coating on pans. The secret lies in casein, a protein found in milk. When heated, casein bonds together to form a thin layer on the pan's surface, effectively rejuvenating its non-stick properties as if it were brand new.

This method is not only effective but also significantly cost-saving.

How to do it:

Pour fresh milk into the pan, ensuring the milk covers the entire surface.
Bring the milk to a boil and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, then turn off the heat.
Allow the pan to cool, then wash off any remaining milk residue on the surface.
After applying this method, you'll notice food no longer sticks to the pan while cooking. The non-stick layer is almost fully restored, making cooking easier and more enjoyable.

Note:

This method is effective only for pans with minor peeling of the non-stick coating.
For pans with severely damaged coatings, this method may not yield significant results. In such cases, it's best to replace the pan to ensure safety and maintain good health.
