If You’re Over 60, Eating a Banana a Day May Have These Effects
Eating a banana daily after 60 can benefit health—if balanced.

Recently, a 25-year-old girl from Shenzhen (China), who only slept four hours a day for three consecutive days, found that her left eye couldn't close, her smile was crooked, and even frowning became difficult. She thought she had suffered a stroke, but when she went to the hospital for a check-up, she discovered a large amount of shingles on her left ear and was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
Ramsay Hunt syndrome, also known as "herpes zoster oticus," accounts for about 7% of the causes of acute facial nerve paralysis, and is one of the most common types of facial paralysis not caused by trauma.
The disease primarily presents with peripheral facial paralysis on the affected side and herpes lesions in the ear canal. It can occur at any age, but it is most common in people aged 70 to 80. However, due to the modern trend of staying up late and weight loss among young people, they have become the new target group for Ramsay Hunt syndrome. The "golden 72 hours" are very important. After receiving urgent treatment, the young woman's facial paralysis improved significantly the next day.
To prevent Ramsay Hunt syndrome, remember: do not stay up late regularly; avoid excessive weight loss; take vitamins when under stress; if you must stay up late often, consider getting the shingles vaccine; if you experience ear pain, facial paralysis, and a rash, treat it within 72 hours, and recovery time may be three times faster.
