Imagine having the opportunity to pursue your dream career at the age of 13. This is precisely what an ambitious young teenager is accomplishing, all while making a positive impact on the lives of some charming canines.

Thirteen-year-old Aleksander Slott, hailing from Byron Center, Michigan, was prompted by his mother, Amy Oostveen, to consider the type of business he would establish if given the chance, as reported by FOX 17.

Drawing from his experience as a dog walker over the past few years, Aleksander expressed his passion for spending time with dogs as his ultimate aspiration.

Subsequently, they came across an online article detailing a canine transportation venture operating in Alaska, recognizing a prospect to materialize Aleksander’s envisioned career.

The family diversified Aleksander’s dog walking enterprise to incorporate in-home daycare services and ultimately acquired a bus, refurbishing it into a comprehensive dog transport service catering to their local area.

In a Facebook post, the family characterized their venture as "a work in progress," expressing sentiments of both joy and sadness as they bid farewell to their cherished canine companion of fourteen years, Lexi. They reflected on the business as a meaningful tribute to her memory, describing it as a blessing.

Amy, who oversees the homeschooling of her children, has structured their educational schedule to accommodate the operation of their enterprise, christened "Wagging Riders." The services offered entail fetching dogs from clients' residences, facilitating walks and playtime at the local park, and safely returning them home—all at a competitive rate of $25 per day

Amy expressed on Facebook, "We provide attentive care for your dogs as if they were our own. Our family thrives on activity and cherishes the companionship of these beloved pets within our household. Remarkably, my son has a natural affinity with dogs, earning him the title of a 'dog whisperer' as they gravitate towards him."

Although the endeavor involves the entire family, Amy highlights her 13-year-old son as the primary entrepreneur. "He conceived the business name independently, shoulders a significant portion of the responsibilities, and even invested in the venture," she revealed to FOX 17.

What an inspiring entrepreneurial venture! We extend our heartfelt wishes to Aleksander and his family for the success of Wagging Riders, anticipating a bustling clientele of canine companions!
