3 steps korean skin care

I will share Korean rice-based skin care remedies that promise to enhance skin health and appearance without the use of expensive products. The remedies include a rice toner, a rice mask, and a nourishing rice cream, each designed to provide deep hydration, minimize pores, and promote a natural glow.
- Rice Toner: A natural hydrator that minimizes open pores and balances excess oil.
- Rice Mask: Deeply replenishes skin and reduces dark spots and pigmentation.
- Rice Cream: Nourishes and enhances skin elasticity, providing sun protection.

Step 1: Rice Toner
Let’s begin!
- Take three tablespoons of rice (you can choose any variety, but here I am using white rice).
- Wash it once or twice thoroughly to remove any dirt or impurities.
- Add one cup of water to the rice and let it soak overnight.
- By the next morning, you’ll notice that the water has changed color as it absorbs the nutrients from the rice.
- Strain the rice water using a strainer.
- Add one teaspoon of glycerin for extra hydration.
- Mix well and transfer it into a clean spray bottle.
Benefits of Rice Toner:
- Deeply hydrates the skin
- Gives a natural glow
- Minimizes open pores
- Balances excess oil
Usage:
Use this toner twice a day—once in the morning and once at night.
Within 7–10 days, you will start noticing your skin becoming more hydrated and radiant.
Continue using it for one month for visible changes.
Storage:
- Store in the refrigerator.
- Use within seven days, then prepare a fresh batch.

Step 2: Rice Mask
To make the Rice Mask, use the leftover rice from the toner process.
- Add one cup of water (or the leftover toner) to the rice.
- Cook it for about 60 to 70 minutes until soft.
- Do not drain the water; let it dry in the pot.
- Let it cool down completely.
- Blend the rice into a smooth, creamy paste.
- Transfer the paste to a bowl.
- Take two tablespoons of the rice paste and add, ½ tablespoon raw honey (has anti-inflammatory & antibacterial properties)
- Mix well to form a smooth mask.
Benefits of Rice Mask:
- Deeply nourishes the skin
- Reduces dark spots & pigmentation
- Provides a natural glow
Application:
- Apply on your face for 15–20 minutes.
- Once dry, rinse with lukewarm or normal water.
Usage Frequency:
- Oily skin: 2–3 times a week
- Dry skin: 3–4 times a week
- Sensitive skin: 1–2 times a week
Step 3: Rice Cream
Use the leftover blended rice from the mask-making process.
- Strain it through a cotton cloth to remove lumps.
- Transfer the smooth, creamy extract into a bowl.
- Add:
- ½ tablespoon Aloe Vera Gel (soothing & deeply nourishing)
- 1½ tablespoons Milk (smoothens and hydrates)
- 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil (deep nourishment)
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (improves skin elasticity and provides sun protection)
- Mix everything well until it forms a creamy texture.
Benefits of Rice Cream:
- Deeply nourishes and hydrates the skin
- Improves elasticity
- Protects against sun damage
Storage:
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Application:
- Apply a thin layer on a clean face.
- Leave it on for 15–20 minutes.
- Remove it using a cotton pad soaked in rice toner.
- For best results, apply at night.
Usage Frequency:
- Oily skin: 2–3 times a week
- Dry skin: 3–4 times a week
