Covering a fan with a plastic bag and turning it on brings surprising benefits

Have you ever been curious about the trick of covering a fan with a plastic bag and switching it on? It may sound simple, but it delivers unexpected results that not everyone knows about.

Electric fans are essential cooling devices in every household. However, after prolonged use, fans accumulate a lot of dust and even bacteria, which can affect your family’s health. Disassembling the fan for cleaning can be complicated and time-consuming. So, how can you clean your fan easily and effectively?

Here’s a simple trick you can try using a plastic bag. The process is straightforward:

Step 1: Prepare a cleaning solution
Mix a small amount of baking soda, white vinegar, and dishwashing liquid in a bowl of water. Baking soda helps disinfect, white vinegar softens dirt, and dishwashing liquid removes grease effectively.

Step 2: Clean the fan cover
Dip a sponge into the cleaning solution and wipe off the dirt from the fan cover.

Step 3: Clean the fan blades
Spray the cleaning solution evenly on both sides of the fan blades.

Step 4: Cover the fan with a plastic bag
Use a large plastic bag to completely cover the fan.

Step 5: Turn on the fan
Switch the fan to its highest speed. The circulating air inside the plastic bag will dislodge the dirt on the fan blades, collecting it at the bottom of the bag.

Step 6: Remove the bag
After about 5 minutes, turn off the fan and remove the plastic bag. You’ll see that the fan blades are spotless without the need for disassembly or extensive cleaning.

This quick and easy method ensures your fan stays clean and safe for your family’s health!
