Do you think there’s any substance to it?

In the latest of the seemingly random and absurd dating rumors to come out of the K-Pop industry, aespa‘s Winter and RIIZE‘s Sungchan have been connected over what most would probably agree is extremely weak “evidence”.

While the two idols are both under SM Entertainment and thus are more likely to know each other than those from different labels, there doesn’t really seem to be much that connects the two otherwise. Yet some messages that the two sent to their fans had similar enough comments that some people have made the leap into thinking that the two could be dating.

Sungchan mentioned the ice cream brand Bing Bing in his messages, bringing up the condensed milk in the product.

Similarly, Winter also brought up Bing Bing bars and mused over the amount of condensed milk in them.

Unsurprisingly, this “evidence” has been met with a lot of skepticism and criticism from fans, though there are some that are taking the messages into consideration.

• “Imagine cutting up pieces of information together to force dating rumors, then you can ruin all idols like that. Cut it down seriously.”
• “Seeing things like that all the time, I’m starting to believe it.”
• “Wonbin is the one who said he liked Bing Bing bar, so Sungchan said he likes it too.”
• “That’s quite compelling…?”
• “Can you stop this obsession with [Winter] already? F*ck even the akgaes are fighting among themselves in DC Gallery while using Winter to bash the f*cker they hate. Do Pann girls have nobody else to use aside from Winter to hate on other idols? Stop grabbing Winter’s hair f*ck.”
