On the morning of October 4, singer Baek Yerin posted a story about the OST 'What are we' from the drama "Love Next Door" with the caption "It's bad to make a copycat product like this. If you want a song similar to mine, ask me."
It is known that "What Are We" is performed by Ha Sung Woon and "0310" is a song composed and produced by Baek Yerin herself, released in 2019.
Big Planet Made immediately spoke up to protect artist Ha Sung Woon and minimize unnecessary controversies.
Full statement from Ha Sung Woon's agency:
"We would like to announce that Ha Sung Woon is not involved in this plagiarism controversy. Ha Sung Woon and Big Planet Made Entertainment only participated as an OST singer at the request of the producer, and did not participate in the composition, lyrics, or arrangement of "What Are We".
However, we are sorry that the OST performed by Ha Sung Woon is suspected of plagiarism, causing concern to fans. We once again confirm that Ha Sung Woon is not involved in this plagiarism controversy, and hope that there will be a good solution between Baek Yerin and the OST production team."
