On July 3, BLACKPINK’s Jennie surprised fans by making an appearance at the Coco Crush in Seoul.
Walking out in front of the media, Jennie shocked netizens with her unexpected outfit that seemed to combine classic colors and textures but with a design that was undoubtedly sexy, almost mimicking lingerie.
When she arrived at the media wall, Jennie looked flawless as she posed
She even threw in some aegyo and bowing as she listened to the requests of the photographers.
As she made her way down, Jennie made sure to continue greeting the fans and media.
Jennie’s face card ultimately served, and netizens couldn’t hide their shock at seeing a small nose piercing.
In particular, the small details on the outfit, whether it was the watch necklace, the textures on each part of the garment, the hair accessories, and even the tights, it fully completed the look which was very Chanel but also very Jennie.
When the photos and videos were posted, netizens were obsessed with Jennie’s look
Korean netizens were more mixed with their views; while some loved the look and Jennie’s visuals, others thought it resembled “underwear” and even criticized the hair and makeup styling.
The contrast in views might be due to differing expectations between Korean and Western netizens.
