Actress Jisoo has been busy for the last few months. However, now it's time for soloist Jisoo time to return to the spotlight. Blackpink's Jisoo, who has been busy shooting a K-drama as well as a film in the first half of this year, recently hinted at a possible comeback to the music scene.
Jisoo teases solo comeback On July 7, Jisoo sent a cryptic message to fans via Bubble. "After filming is over, I will work hard to prepare so that I can meet Blink again soon," the Blackpink star wrote.
Jisoo's message created quite the frenzy within the fandom, with many speculating that the idol-actress was hinting at a possible return to the music scene. "The woman opened a company, shot movie, TV series, shot brand shoots and campaigns, shot many vlogs, opened a recording studio and is now preparing to release music. She does business in every field and is a very hardworking person. This year is her year," one fan tweeted. Another added, "Real music is about to be back soon, can't wait to see the type of music Jisoo will deliver with artistic freedom," while a third wrote, "Either she meant the rumored fan meeting, or she's already going to focus on preparing for her solo comeback. Whatever it is I know it's music related y'all."
On the work front Following her departure from YG Entertainment in December last year, Jisoo launched her solo label BLISSOO in February 2024. The Flower singer seems to have taken a break from music to delve back into acting. She will be making her K-drama comeback with Influenza. Directed by Yoon Sung-hyun, the upcoming zombie series also stars Park Jung-min and Kim Joon-han in key roles.
