Blackpink star Rosé is preparing to release her first full-length album in December, marking her highly anticipated return as a solo artist.

On her Instagram page, the 27-year-old artist, whose real name is Roseanne Park, announced late Tuesday that she would drop the record titled "rosie" on December 6.

Rosé is the latest member of the K-pop sensation, behind songs such as "Pink Venom" and "How You Like That," to announce a solo project in less than a week.

"I cannot believe I am finally announcing my first album release to you all," she wrote in the post's caption, accompanying a striking photo of the singer lying down and gazing directly at the viewer.

"That led on to a year of walking in and out of the studio, writing songs with songwriters and producers I’d met for the first time, trying to figure out the next chapter in my career," she said.

"I have poured my blood and tears into this album. I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine," she added.

Rosé explained the album's title comes from "the name I allow my friends and family to call me."

"With this album, I hope you all feel that much closer to me," she said.

In the past days, fellow Blackpink members Lisa and Jennie also bared that they would drop new songs in October.

Rosé debuted in 2016 as a member of Blackpink and launched her solo career in 2021 with the single album "R."

YG Entertainment, the K-pop agency handling Blackpink's group activities, earlier said the four-piece act is preparing to make a comeback and embark on a world tour in 2025.
