BTS Jin Crowned ‘July Pick K-pop Male Artist’ on Upick, Proves Global Popularity – KpopHit

BTS’s Jin has clinched the top spot as the ‘July K-pop Male Artist’ on the global fandom platform Upick, further solidifying his global popularity.

From July 1 to July 22, Jin amassed a total of 1,260,377,733 votes in the ‘July Pick K-POP ARTIST (Male)’ category on Upick. This victory marks his second consecutive win, following his first-place finish in June.

As the winner of ‘July’s Pick,’ Jin will receive a coveted advertisement on the Coex Media Tower in Seoul’s Samseong Station. His reward advertisement for winning June’s ‘Pick’ was displayed from July 12 to July 14.

Artists who place in the top three in the ‘Pick of the Month’ voting automatically advance as candidates for the ‘Best Pick of the Month.’ Jin, having secured a top position in the ‘July Best Pick’ vote as of July 24, continues to showcase his formidable fanbase and global appeal.

The first-place winner of the ‘Best Pick of the Month’ receives an advertisement spot in New York’s Times Square. Additionally, each first-place finish earns a special badge, and collecting five special badges grants the winner the largest and most unique advertising package worldwide (15 media ads simultaneously broadcast domestically and internationally). The final winner will be announced on July 29.

Recently, Jin gained attention as a torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, spreading messages of ‘harmony’ and ‘peace.’ His sculpted looks and dignified demeanor captivated audiences globally, earning him the title ‘Little Prince of Paris Jin.’
