8 oz (225 g) cooked shrimp, chopped
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
-
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
-
½ tsp onion powder
-
½ tsp paprika
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Rolls
-
2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 triangles)
-
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Garlic Butter Topping
-
2 tbsp melted butter
-
1 garlic clove, minced
-
1 tbsp chopped parsley
-
1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions

Step 1 – Prepare the Filling
In a medium bowl, combine:
-
Chopped shrimp
-
Cream cheese
-
Mozzarella
-
Parmesan
-
Garlic
-
Parsley
-
Onion powder
-
Paprika
-
Salt and pepper
Mix until evenly combined.
Step 2 – Assemble the Rolls
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Separate the crescent dough into triangles.
Place about 2 tablespoons of the shrimp mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
Roll tightly toward the pointed end, enclosing the filling completely.
Arrange on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 3 – Brush and Bake
Brush each roll with beaten egg.
Bake for 16–18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Step 4 – Make the Garlic Butter
While the rolls bake, stir together:
-
Melted butter
-
Minced garlic
-
Parsley
-
Parmesan cheese
Step 5 – Finish
As soon as the rolls come out of the oven, brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.
Serve warm while the cheese is melted and gooey.
Chef's Tips

-
Pat the shrimp dry before mixing to prevent a watery filling.
-
Freshly grated mozzarella melts more smoothly than pre-shredded cheese.
-
Seal the dough edges well to keep the filling from leaking.
-
Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper flakes for extra heat.
-
Sprinkle extra Parmesan on top before baking for a crisp, cheesy crust.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with:
-
Garlic aioli
-
Marinara sauce
-
Sweet chili sauce
-
Ranch dressing
-
Caesar salad
-
Tomato basil soup
