Devastating Wildfire in Los Angeles Destroys the Home of the U.S. President’s Son

The house rented by President Joe Biden’s son in Los Angeles County, California, has been completely destroyed in a catastrophic wildfire.

Los Angeles is currently facing one of the most devastating wildfires in its history. The disaster has claimed 10 lives, left many others injured, destroyed high-value properties, and forced hundreds of thousands of residents to evacuate.

Preliminary statistics show that the massive fires in recent days have destroyed over 2,000 structures in Los Angeles, including the Malibu beachfront house rented by Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden.

Photos widely shared on social media show the $4 million house rented by the outgoing president’s son reduced to rubble, with only two stone chimneys remaining.

According to the Daily Mail, Hunter Biden had been renting the property for $15,800 per month.

“My son and his wife were living there. Yesterday, Hunter and his wife were notified that the house they rented may have been burned down,” President Joe Biden told reporters on January 9.

The president’s son is not the only public figure impacted by the uncontrollable wildfire, which has been raging since approximately 10 a.m. on January 7 (local time).

Entrepreneur, singer, and actress Paris Hilton, along with actors Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Anna Faris, Miles Teller, and Anthony Hopkins, are among dozens of celebrities whose homes were destroyed. Both the media and the victims themselves have shared this information on social media.

Other celebrities, such as Reese Witherspoon, Steven Spielberg, Michael Keaton, Tom Hanks, Ben Affleck, and Mandy Moore, own properties in the Pacific Palisades area, but it remains unclear how they have been affected.

As the fires continue to rage, incoming U.S. President Donald Trump has criticized both President Joe Biden and California Governor Gavin Newsom for their handling of the disaster.
