What a duo ?
The close bond between international soccer star Son Heung Min and K-Pop icon G-Dragon has recently captured public attention. The reason behind it becoming a hot topic is a unique gift the soccer player received from the BIGBANG star.
Earlier today, May 26, Son posted about the gift he received from G-Dragon—a highly exclusive personalized perfume—on his Instagram stories. He also expressed his appreciation by adding a “thank you” in his caption.
But the perfume is not just any perfume. The bottle on Son’s Instagram is part of a special collaboration between G-Dragon and a prestigious French perfume house renowned for its exclusivity, with only 100 bottles produced globally. MUSC RAVAGEUR is known to only be used by the top celebs around the world. The specific perfume gifted to Son Heung Min bears the number ‘7’, a clear nod to his iconic jersey number in his club team Tottenham Hotspur. The added personalized touch did not go unnoticed by fans and further cemented the significance of the gift, as well as the duo’s close bond. Though a simple but sweet gesture, the Korean public seems to love the friendship between these two as articles about the gift have climbed to the top of NAVER’s most viewed pieces of the day.
This isn’t the first time G-Dragon has shared such exclusive gifts with his friends in the entertainment industry. Actress Lee Sung Kyung also received a perfume from G-Dragon and expressed her admiration, saying she aspires to be as generous and thoughtful as him. Other notable figures, including singer Lee Hyori, television personality Jo Se Ho, lyricist Kim Eana, and singer Se7en, have all been recipients of G-Dragon’s unique perfumes.
The exchange of this rare perfume has not only spotlighted G-Dragon’s generosity but also showcased the close-knit relationships within the South Korean celebrity circle. Thus, fans are more than happy to see such interactions and moments as they unfold on social media.
