According to The Independent, one of them is American actress Paris Hilton. On January 9, the reality TV star and Hilton hotel heiress watched her $8.4 million beach house burn to the ground while watching a live news report.

She later returned to Malibu (Los Angeles, California) and witnessed her mansion burned to the ground. Hilton shared her pain when she returned to the place that used to be her home, saying that she felt like her heart was broken into a million pieces. She recorded a video as she walked through the remaining part of the driveway that was still standing, while the rest of the house was reduced to rubble.

She wrote on social network X: “When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock, I couldn’t believe it. But now, standing here and looking at it with my own eyes, my heart is broken into a million pieces.”

However, Hilton said she feels incredibly lucky that her family, including businessman husband Carter Reum, their two children Phoenix and London, and their four small dogs, are safe.

The actress added: “This house is more than just a place to live, it is where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family. It is where Phoenix used her little hands to create works of art that I will cherish forever, where love and life filled every corner. To see it burned to the ground… there are no words to describe it.”

She also expressed her gratitude to the firefighters, rescue workers, and volunteers who are risking their lives to fight these fires.

She also expressed sympathy for those who had also lost their homes in the wildfires. She wrote: “To everyone who is feeling this pain, please know that you are not alone. We will get through this together. We will rebuild, heal and be stronger than ever.”

Reality TV star Spencer Pratt posted on X: “The only positive thing I saw when the house burned down was our son’s bed burned into the shape of a heart. It was a sign of how much love there was in that house. I am grateful for the years and memories I have made with my family.”
