However, the skin is not merely an outer covering. It has a natural protective barrier consisting of oils and beneficial microorganisms. Showering too frequently, especially when using soap or body wash repeatedly, can disrupt this protective layer.

As a result, the skin may become dry, lose moisture, become itchy, or become more sensitive to environmental factors. Therefore, taking more showers does not necessarily mean taking better care of your body.
