The female idol shed her cold, sexy image when participating in Netflix's detective game show "Agents of Mystery".

Agents of Mystery revolves around an investigation team that specializes in examining crime scenes to solve special cases. They must utilize their analytical, reasoning, and teamwork skills to complete the tasks given by the program within 6 hours.

In addition to Karina, the program also features the participation of currently beloved artists: Lee Hye Ri, Lee Yong Jin, Lee Eun Ji, John Park, and Kim Do Hoon.

Agents of Mystery is the latest project of famous producer Jeong Jong Yeon, who created popular reality shows such as: The Genius, The Great Escape, The Devil's Plan, etc.

Karina shared that she felt lucky to participate in producer Jeong Jong Yeon's new project because she is a fan of the detective genre. "I love detective novels and movies and am also a fan of director Jeong Jong Yeon. Being invited to participate in the program is an honor for me," said the female idol.

She also revealed that when watching the show, the audience will somewhat see her real-life personality. "My image on stage is usually cold and charming. However, at home I am the youngest and on the show I am also the youngest. Through this show, I want to show my real-life personality as well as my interactions with the other players." Producer Jeong Jong Yeon said that Agents of Mystery will focus more on the mystical element than his previous shows. "From my experience making reality shows about adventure and risk, I realized that viewers are more interested in supernatural and horror themes. So in this show, I focused on those elements."

During the production process, Jeong Jong Yeon always paid attention to the smallest details in the hope of conquering the global audience once again. His previous show Devil's Plan climbed to the top 3 on the global Netflix chart after only 6 days of its release.

"I made this genre because I believe it can bring many emotions such as joy, excitement and fear to viewers. I hope that the detective and supernatural genre will make a mark for Korean variety shows with the global audience," Jeong Jong Yeon hopes.
