The Doctor’s Unexpected Request

As Sarah prepared to leave the hospital for the final time, Michael’s doctor stopped her in the hallway.

“There’s something he made me promise not to give you until now,” the doctor said.

Confused and emotionally exhausted, Sarah listened as the physician handed her a sealed envelope. Her husband had left strict instructions: the letter was not to be delivered until after his organs had been successfully transplanted.
