Immediately after, “Jennie takes a photo with Edison Chen” became one of the most searched keywords on Weibo. The photo also appeared in the prominent positions of many Chinese online newspapers such as China Times, HK01, ET Today, TVBS, etc.
Chinese netizens were surprised and curious about the relationship between the two celebrities. In addition, the appearance of the former Hong Kong male god was also discussed. Many people expressed regret because Edison Chen looked thin and old even though he was not yet 44 years old. On the contrary, Jennie received many compliments on her appearance.
Netizens commented: “Do the two of them really know each other?”, “Jennie is so beautiful”, “What an unusual combination”, “This photo looks like father and daughter”, “He looks a bit old and tired”, “If Edison Chen wasn’t mentioned, I would have thought it was someone else. He was really handsome when he was young”, “Is Edison Chen really old now?”…
The answer to the audience’s question is that Jennie and Edison Chen have a working relationship. According to TVBS, Jennie is the global spokesperson for a famous sports brand and this giant is collaborating with the fashion company founded by Edison Chen. Jennie was chosen to shoot an advertisement for this deal. They took a photo together behind the scenes of the filming.
Edison Chen also posted another photo with the Kpop idol on his personal Instagram.

Edison Chen (born in 1980) is a famous singer and actor in Hong Kong (China) in the early 2000s. He is not only handsome and talented but also comes from a "noble family" when his father is businessman Tran Trach Dan, a tycoon in the Hong Kong entertainment industry with the title "Cuu Ca".
At the peak of his career, Edison Chen was the dream of countless Chinese and Asian girls. He is famous for films such as Jade Maiden, Love Like a Dream, Infernal Affairs, The Heavenly Secret... In terms of music, he was once expected to be the next king of Hong Kong, with a reputation that is not inferior to Nicholas Tse or Daniel Wu.
However, the brilliant career of the star Tran ended in 2008 when more than 1,000 hot photos and many sensitive clips between him and a series of lovers were leaked. Hong Kong showbiz was even more shocked when the hot photo gallery featured A-list beauties such as Truong Ba Chi, Chung Han Dong, Maggie Q... On February 21, 2008, Edison Chen announced his indefinite withdrawal from showbiz.
More than 16 years have passed, the scandal still remains, but Edison Chen has changed a lot. He shed the "bad boy" label to become a caring husband and father. He married model Tan Thu Boi and had a lovely daughter. In addition, he focused on running his own fashion brand, achieving remarkable achievements.
