Method 1: Remove chewing gum from clothes by cooling
Step 1: Fold the clothes so that the gum sticks out. Then put the clothes in a plastic bag, making sure that the chewing gum does not stick to the bag.

Step 2: Place the bag and clothes in the freezer for about 30 minutes or more depending on the material of the clothes and the size of the chewing gum. This will harden the gum stuck on the clothes, making it easier to remove from the clothes.

Step 3: After the gum has hardened, take the clothes out of the freezer. Use an old or blunt knife to quickly remove the gum stuck on the clothes, then wash the clothes as usual.

Method 2: Remove chewing gum using an iron
Step 1: Place the clothing with chewing gum face down on a piece of paper or cardboard.

Step 2: Then, use the iron to iron the back of the gum several times. At this point, the gum will soften and stick to the paper (cardboard).

Step 3: Remove the clothes from the cardboard, the gum will stick to the cardboard, if the gum is still stuck on the clothes, continue ironing until it softens and sticks to the cardboard then remove it.

Method 3: Remove chewing gum by heating
Step 1: You can soak the area of clothing with chewing gum in hot water. You only need to soak for 2 or 3 minutes, do not soak for too long because it will more or less affect the quality of the fabric.

Step 2: Then, use a toothbrush or blunt knife to remove the gum.

Step 3: You can also heat the gum area by steaming. This method will not damage the quality of the fabric. Place the area of clothing with gum in front of the kettle to let the gum absorb hot steam, then slowly pry the gum off.
Method 4: Remove gum with alcohol
Step 1: For soft fabric clothes, you can use alcohol to remove gum stains on them. Then the clothes will not be stained or faded.

Pour some rubbing alcohol onto a sponge or rag. Then rub the sponge onto the gum. Wait a few minutes for the rubbing alcohol to take effect.

Step 2: Use an old knife to gently pry off the gum residue and wash the clothes as usual.
Method 5: Remove chewing gum with peanut butter
Step 1: Take a little peanut butter and rub it on the gum-stained area, avoiding getting the butter on other areas. Leave the area with peanut butter for a minute.

Step 2: Use a blunt knife to gently scrape off the gum residue. This method is very effective, but the butter easily sticks to clothes, so you will have to wash the areas with the butter residue afterwards.
