Dubbed as a "breaking the laws of physics" project, the bridge is both a tunnel for vehicles and a waterway for ships to travel every day.

Human creativity seems endless, demonstrated through many world-famous architectural works. And the Veluwemeer Water Bridge in the Netherlands is one of them.

The project is dubbed "breaking the laws of physics" when it becomes a bridge that is both a tunnel for vehicles and a waterway for ships to travel. At the time of its launch, the Veluwemeer Bridge made the world "take off their hats in admiration".

Located in the town of Harderwijk, a small town in the east of the Netherlands, the bridge is named after the architect Veluwemeer Aqueduct.

Previously, this architect had come up with a bold and almost unimaginable idea: building a water bridge. The unique design is expected to save a lot of construction costs, maximize efficiency and not hinder traffic.

If building a tunnel would take time and effort, a road bridge would also require a large budget. The water bridge is the optimal solution to meet all the requirements.

After the conceptualization process, the Veluwemeer Bridge was built to connect the mainland of the Netherlands with the world's largest artificial island, Flevoland.

The project officially came into use in 2002. It is a 25 m long, 19 m wide and 3 m deep route. When the bridge was officially launched, the world "held its breath" waiting for this unique project.

Not only affirming the achievements in water and road transport, the unique Veluwemeer Water Bridge has also become an attractive tourist destination.

In addition to these two traffic routes, the architects also designed separate walkways on both sides of the bridge for visitors to stroll and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the surrounding river area.

It can be seen that the Veluwemeer Water Bridge is a breakthrough in architecture and engineering. Since its appearance, the bridge has been likened to a structure that reverses all laws and principles commonly found in natural physics.
