The husband immediately insisted that they had been taken out of context.

His attorney repeated the same argument.

For a moment, it appeared that the evidence would not significantly change the case.

The woman looked toward her lawyer.

Her husband remained composed.

Then something unexpected happened.

The husband’s own lawyer began looking more carefully at one particular message.

He read it once.

Then he read it again.

He paused for several seconds.

The attorney slowly turned toward his client.

And asked:

“Can you explain this one?”

The husband looked at the screen.

His expression changed.
