At exactly 10pm on July 21 (Vietnam time), YG's production director Yang Hyun Suk appeared in a clip to introduce the company's plans for 2025, notably the reunion of two legendary girl groups - 2NE1 and BLACKPINK.
The comeback of both 2NE1 and BLACKPINK is highly anticipated.
Accordingly, Yang Hyun Suk introduced 2NE1 as the first girl group that YG successfully debuted, he shared: "The members of 2NE1 expressed to me their desire to hold a concert to celebrate the group's 15th debut anniversary. So we had a happy discussion about making all of that come true this year".
Not letting fans wait long, Yang Hyun Suk immediately announced that 2NE1 will hold a concert in October this year in Seoul (Korea), then in Osaka and Tokyo (Japan) in November and December. So, BLACKJACKS, prepare to welcome 2NE1's return in October!

After that, Yang Hyun Suk also revealed YG's plans for 2025, including BLACKPINK's comeback with a world tour. Previously, on the morning of July 19, YG Entertainment posted an official announcement about BLACKPINK's fansign event on the occasion of their 8th debut anniversary. Accordingly, the fansign event will be held on August 8, 2024 - BLACKPINK's 8th debut anniversary and only 88 lucky fans will be able to attend. Thus, fans can meet the full lineup of BLACKPINK this year and next year!
