Who is Lee Jun Ho?

Lee Jun Ho is one of the most talked-about second-generation K-pop idols. After years of working in the idol industry, Jun Ho kickstarted his career in acting and has received several impressive achievements. After 15 years of working, netizens are curious about his net worth.

Lee Jun Ho was born in 1990. He debuted in 2008 as a member of 2PM, dubbed the “beast idols” and known for the group’s hit songs such as “Heartbeat,” “Hands Up,” “My House,” and “A.D.T.O.Y.”

In 2013, Jun Ho started his solo career with “Kimi no Koe,” followed by the 2015 album “One,” both of which showcased the idol’s ability as a producer, composer, and songwriter.

As of 2019, Junho is the idol with the 7th most copyrighted songs; a hundred songs are credited under his name by the Korea Music Copyright Association.

Acting-wise, Jun Ho entered the scene in 2013 but only made a big splash with “The Red Sleeve” in 2021.

Currently, The actor is continuing to establish himself as a top actor with his new drama, “King the Land,” co-starring YoonA.

How wealthy is he?

As of 2020, Lee Jun Ho’s net worth stands at around $1 to $5 million, according to different sources.

However, based on his growing fame and high demand in the next three years, the idol-actor’s financial stability is valued at about 16.6 million USD and can go up as high as 78 million USD.

While there are only speculations about his income based on released reports, Jun Ho has shown that he is enjoying jaw-dropping wealth.

A group earning announced in 2013 was said to be around 27.3 million USD. If such an amount is divided equally, Jun Ho as a member would get around 1.3 million USD in take-home payment, excluding song royalties.

In 2020, music professionals unveiled that one hit song can bring in 16,843 USD to 25,264 USD, adding to his already comfortable life. After transitioning to be an actor, Jun Ho gains most of his income from acting.

A news source said that Jun Ho made about 100 million KRW per episode in a new project, most potentially being his current drama, “King the Land.”

The MBC drama was a sensation that swept the nation. The love story of a King and the palace maid was one of Korea’s most watched dramas in 2021.

Like Extraordinary Attorney Woo, the drama was also an underdog that saw it compete against dramas like Now, We Are Breaking Up, which starred top star actress Song Hye Kyo and up-and-coming actor Jang Ki Yong.

In comparison, The Red Sleeve starred actors Lee Junho and Lee Se Young, who, at the time, didn’t command the same spotlight as  Song Hye Kyo.

It didn’t help The Red Sleeves that Now, We Are Breaking Up was Song Hye Kyo’s first project since her divorce from actor Song Joong Ki.

With all that said, The Red Sleeves dominated in the ratings, finishing with a whopping 17.4%, while Now, We Are Breaking Up‘s last episode saw a respectable rating of 6.7%.

The drama catapulted Lee Junho and Lee Se Young as bonafide lead actors. The actors were praised for their acting and chemistry, as Lee Junho took home a Baeksang Arts Award for leading actor and Lee Se Young took home an MBC Acting Award.

Now it seems Lee Junho’s new fame is paying off where it counts — his bank account.

In a recent episode of TMI News Show, Lee Junho was revealed to now make over ₩100 million KRW (about $76,200 USD) per episode.

Considering a K-drama is usually 16 episodes long, fans of the artist can rest assured knowing that Lee Junho has indeed secured the bag.

Lee Junho certainly paid his due on his way up to where he is now! Pre-The Red Sleeve, he played notable roles in other dramas, such as Good Manager and Rain or Shine. He is also set to appear as the lead of an upcoming drama, titled King the Land, alongside Girls’ Generation‘s Yoona.
