Mine is that I wanted to listen to opera and ended up finding a cooking channel that I still watch today, a new fandom to join, and a new thing to mess up my YouTube recommendations with!
YouTube algorithm suggested me a song I didn’t know from an underground punk band. I clicked, fell in love with it immediately. Then I found their album. Then I learned that it’s the only album they’ve made. Then I learned that there’s a documentary about them that I missed. Then I learned that they were showing this documentary again after 2 years. I went, talked to the creator of the documentary and the wife of one of the band members. I volunteered to subtitle it in English. I don’t know where it’ll lead, but I sense it won’t stop there.
