Kanye West has blamed a recent hand injury on ‘texting too much’.
The rapper shared a video to his Twitter account this week, telling his fans that he had hurt himself and had to go to the hospital to get a steroid injection.
In the clip, Ye’s hand can be seen lying flat on a table, with a doctor injecting it with what the singer says is lidocaine and dexamethasone.

Alongside the video, he praised the doctor, writing: “Lidocaine worked instantly!!! The dexamethasone takes 24 to 48 hours Modern medicine.”
The 43-year-old later posted a photograph of his x-ray.
It read: “Too much texting bro Had to get the cortisone mixed with a wittle sprinkle of lidocaine.”

Commenting on the post, some of his fans suggested he probably shouldn’t be using his phone to post to social media if it’s landed him in hospital – and also questioned why he had posted about his hand twice.
One joked: “Too much texting bro he’s even sending the same tweet twice.”
A second added: “Tweet so good he did it twice.”

Kanye’s injury comes after he appeared to ‘walk on water’ with two of his children during his Sunday Service in Atlanta, US.

Wife Kim Kardashian uploaded footage to her Instagram stories, showing the 43-year-old rapper walking across the water’s surface with his two eldest children, seven-year-old North and four-year-old Saint.
Yeezus of course doesn’t have divine powers; rather he and his nippers were safely sauntering on top of a translucent platform just below the surface.
Still, it made for a pretty grand entrance as a gospel choir performed ‘O Fortuna’ by Carl Orff.

Televangelist and pastor Joel Osteen gave a speech during the service as he also stood on top of the water.
He said: “Watching these fine men and women sing, it looks like they are walking on water. My mind goes back to that time where Jesus invited Peter to walk on the water. I can imagine Peter thought, ‘Jesus, what are you talking about? That’s impossible! I can’t do that.’
“I think we all have that in times in life where we think, ‘God is telling me to do something. I feel it down inside.’ But we don’t feel quantified or have the experience – ‘I can’t sing like them, or I can’t invent like Kanye. That’s for somebody else.'”
