Finalists For 2020 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards Have Been Announced

The finalists of the 2020 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards have been announced – and choosing a winner is surely gonna be nigh on possible.

Entries have been whittled down to 44 fantastic photos, with a rebellious kingfisher, a smug elephant seal and a fed-up gorilla.

The global competition was founded by Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, both professional photographers and passionate conservationists, and is free to enter – though clearly if you’ve just snapped your cat doing something daft you’re too later for this year.

In addition to providing some light-hearted relief, the competition aims to raise awareness of wildlife conservation in an engaging and positive way, working alongside main competition partner, The Born Free Foundation.
