The acting skills of EXO D.O., also known as Do Kyung Soo, are highly praised by “The Moon” co-star Sol Kyung Gu.
On July 25th, the press screening of the new movie “The Moon” was held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Here, one of the film’s major cast members, actor Sol Kyung Gu praises EXO D.O.’s acting.
In particular, he excited the scene by confessing, “When I saw Do Kyung Soo’s acting, I thought to myself, ‘I’m inferior.’” (Do Kyung Soo is the real name of EXO D.O.)
On the other hand, in “The Moon”, Sol Kyung Gu assumes the role of Jae Guk, the former head of the Naro Space Center, who desperately tries to rescue Sun Woo (D.O.), a space crew member who was stranded alone on the moon.
When asked if he had difficulty memorizing the challenging space terminology for his lines, Sol Kyung Gu humbly admitted, “To be honest, even now, I don’t fully understand the terms. It’s not something I can simply memorize. I received a handbook, but even looking at the illustrations, I didn’t fully grasp the movements and meanings, so I tried to immerse myself in the situation. Also, there are many people in Korea who work hard for the space industry, so I can’t claim to have learned everything in just a few months.”
Meanwhile, “The Moon”, which is set to be released on August 2nd, depicts the struggle between Sun Woo, a space crew member stranded alone on the moon due to an accident, and Jae Guk, the former head of the space center, who desperately tries to rescue him.
“The Moon” is directed by Kim Yong Hwa, who is well-known for the “Along with the Gods” franchise.
