Many consider these “chest-touching accidents” in dramas comedies to entertain the viewers, but others think these scenes are rude.
K-Drama fans must have been familiar with the detail of the male lead accidentally touching the female character’s chest. Even though most of these scenes were made as comedies in order to bring laughter to the audience, many people think this is a sensitive scene for attention.
1. Jo Yeo-jung
In “Haeundae Lovers”, Kim Kang Woo’s character mistakenly thought Jo Yeo Jung’s character was a thief, so he tried to catch her from behind. That’s why his hands unintentionally touched the chest of his co-star.
2. Han Ji-hye
There was also a similar scene when the female lead – Han Ji-hye was touched on her chest in the famous drama “May Queen”. In this scene, Hae Joo (Han Ji Hye) got angry at her brother and was about to hit him at the police station. Noticing that, Kang San (Kim Jae-won) immediately tried to prevent the fight. He caught Hae Joo from behind and suddenly touched her chest.
3. Suzy
Unlike the 2 previous series, the physical touching in “Gu Family Book” was made as a funny scene. The moment Kang Chi (Lee Seung-gi) put his hand on Yeol Woo (Suzy)’s chest, he realized Yeo Wool is a girl. Lee Seung-gi personally said he felt uncomfortable during the filming and even got “punished” by his co-star. Meanwhile, Suzy also told her fans not to overreact because of that scene.
4. Jo Bo-ah
Jo Bo-ah once got her chest revealed in the historical drama “Horse Doctor”. In this scene, a famous doctor was doing surgery on Jo Bo-ah’s character, so there were times when her chest got touched. At that time, this scene sparked controversy since many people believed it was not suitable for a historical film and a broadcast on national TV.
5. Jung Eun-ji
Although the main characters of Reply 1997 were all students, there was still a ‘chest touching scene’. In particular, Yoon Yoon-jae (Seo In-guk) wanted to push his friend Sung Si-won (Jung Eun-ji) away, so he stretched his arms out and accidentally touched her chest.
