BIG BANG member & singer G-Dragon posted a meaningful post on SNS after denying drug charges
On October 31st, G-Dragon posted a photo on his Instagram Story and immediately deleted it within seconds.
The photo drew attention as it showed an explanation of 8 teachings in Buddhism, saying:
“Right view: Looking upright
Right intention-motive: Thinking correctly
Right speech: Speaking correctly
Right Action: Acting correctly
Right Livelihood: Living correctly
Right Effort: Devoting yourself correctly
Right Mindfulness: Staying awake
Right Concentration: Focusing correctly”
In addition, following the term “Eightfold path to Nirvana”, it said, “Our ultimate goal is enlightenment. We must become enlightened. We should pursue happiness beyond life and death. It’s not right to be obsessed with the small pleasures at the moment and ignore fundamental happiness. There is an urgent need for a change of our consciousness to redirect our efforts towards the roots”.
Earlier, the police booked G-Dragon without detention on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act and banned him from leaving the country. However, the male singer strongly denied all the drug allegations through his legal representative Kim Soo-hyun, a lawyer at K1 Chamber.
Later, G-Dragon submitted a letter expressing his intention to voluntarily attend the police investigation scheduled for November 6th. G-Dragon’s lawyer also asked the media to have a sense of responsibility when making reports about his case and warned those who spread false rumors.
