Sandara Park has welcomed her new sister-in-law, Mimi, into the family after the former gugudan member and her younger brother Thunder shared pictures from their engagement shoot.

On Oct. 31, Thunder, a former member of the boy band MBLAQ, posted images from their pre-wedding shoot, writing, “We had our wedding photoshoot yesterday! Mimi looked so beautiful in her dress that I couldn’t focus on the shoot because I was busy looking at her… It was a happy day! Thanks to everyone who congratulated us.” He added, “Official photos will be revealed soon!”

Sandara left a comment saying she now understands what it looks like when a man falls in love.

“Seeing my youngest brother, I realized what it looks like when a man falls in love. I’m so happy by just watching you! Love Mimi lots and lots in the future too and I pray that you both build a happy family. I’m so proud of you, my little brother!” she wrote.

Mimi also shared more images, adding that she is “truly grateful” for the support they’ve received, especially from her sisters-in-law who joined them in the photo shoot despite their hectic schedules.

“We had our wedding photoshoot yesterday! After publicly revealing our relationship on TV this summer, we’ve been receiving many congratulations and words of support. We are truly grateful and have been living each day with happiness! I’d also like to thank my sisters-in-laws who despite their busy schedules, took the time to join us as bridesmaids for our photoshoot. I’m so happy to become part of the Park siblings as the youngest,” Mimi wrote.

In one photo, Thunder’s sisters Durami and Sandara were seen in their sky-blue tulle gowns seated in between the couple.

Sandara commented on the post, “I can’t believe I’m a sister-in-law now! Let’s live like sisters from now on, Mimi. Please be happy with Doongie.”

During an appearance on KBS 2TV’s variety show Second House, Thunder and Mimi previously shared they had been dating for the past four years. The two took later to Instagram to announce their relationship and say that they wish to spend the rest of their lives together.

“For the sake of Mimi, who always calmly encouraged me, warmly understood me, and firmly protected me despite my shortcomings and nervousness, I plan to take responsibility and try to show you that we are happy and doing well,” Thunder wrote in July.

Meanwhile, Mimi wrote that she has “found someone with whom I want to spend the rest of my life [with].”
