The two actors spill on what they’re like off-camera.
My Demon co-stars Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung are being praised as an on-screen “visual couple” with a natural chemistry that is seen both on and off-screen.
To promote their newest K-Drama, which is currently airing, the two talented actors sat down for a fun interview with ELLE Korea, during which they opened up about their “visual couple” nickname, how well they know each other, and what their chemistry is like in real life.
Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung showed off their close friendship during the interview, both answering that their first impression of each other was that they were “perfect.”
Taking part in ELLE Korea‘s “Chemistry Workshop,” the two co-stars were asked to summarize their IRL chemistry, and Song Kang answered that it felt like they were “elementary school students.”
Kim Yoo Jung asked, “Like cute?” to clarify his meaning, and he explained they were “cute and innocent.”
They were then asked how they would rate their chemistry, and Song Kang confidently replied that their chemistry was “100, of course.” Kim Yoo Jung hilariously answered “99.9,” only to give a different answer from her co-star.
Kim Yoo Jung then spilled on their work chemistry, revealing that they’re able to converse comfortably and understand each other from their shared “type-T” personalities.
After spilling on their natural off-screen chemistry, they also reacted to their on-screen “visual couple” nickname.
On the other hand, Kim Yoo Jung could not keep a straight face. In a newly released behind-the-scenes clip, Kim Yoo Jung struggled not to crack a smile and laugh as her character is supposed to gaze at Gu Won’s abs.
We can’t blame her for getting flustered!
My Demon is currently ongoing. It stars Song Kang as demon Jeong Gu Won and Kim Yoo Jung as heiress Do Do Hee. The two become entangled when he loses his tattoo along with his abilities to her wrist.
A pitiless demon becomes powerless after getting entangled with an icy heiress, who may hold the key to his lost abilities — and his heart.
