Alden Richards addressed questions, which may seemed to be attempts to link him to the split of KathNiel.
In a video uploaded on VeryWang channel on YouTube, the actor turned serious in answering the question saying that there was no truth to it.
“Kasi lumalabas siya. Parang ginagawan naman ako ng isyu para mapunta sakin yung blame. Di ba. Parang nananahimik ako so, ngayon po, wala pong ganoon. Hindi po yun totoo. I know my place in the industry and hindi po ako nakikisawsaw sa isyu ng kung sinu-sino,” Alden explained.
“Pero as a friend ba, nag-reach out ka po ba sa kanya to console her?” asked a female reporter.
“Parang hindi ko pa po nagawa, that’s her personal eh…Parang yun din yung respect ko na anything that has to do with that angle, yung sa kanila ni Daniel, di po ako nakikialam. So I keep that oath po, para hindi na lang po tayo masyadong, para hindi ko na lang po naiinvolve yung sarili ko, kasi malaki na po siya,” the Kapuso actor concluded.
