Is it true that the family of Kim Chiu was not in favor of Xian Lim?
The family of Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu allegedly dislikes her ex-boyfriend Kapuso actor Xian Lim.
It was recently confirmed that Kim and Xian are no longer together. After quite some time since the breakup rumors surfaced, the former couple confirmed their breakup through their social media posts.
They have been together for 12 years. Their loveteam partnership became a real relationship behind the camera.
The KimXi breakup garnered different reactions from the fans. Some were saddened by this but some fans thought that this was the best for the both of them.
In a recent episode of veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin’s talk show, she and her co-host Romel Chika talked about Kim Chiu and Xian Lim’s breakup. Cristy shared that her source revealed something about the former couple.
It was claimed by the source that Kim’s family does not like Xian as her boyfriend. “May source akong nakausap… medyo may kalaliman ang kwento. Matagal na palang hindi pabor ang pamilya ni Kim Chiu dito kay Xian Lim?” the veteran showbiz writer said.
With this, Romel Chika shared the interview that he saw. He said that in an interview, Xian was asked about his relationship with Kim’s family and it was said that his facial expression showed that he did not know how to answer the question.
Some fans also feel the same way toward Xian because they think that the actor has no plan to take his relationship with Kim to the next level. Cristy Fermin added that there had been rumors saying that friends of Kim Chiu do not Xian Lim as well as her boyfriend.
As of writing, Kim and Xian haven’t spoken yet about this speculation.
