In the drama, Anthony plays a character named Snoop. He is the best buddy of the protagonist, Bingo/Andrei, who is portrayed by Donny Pangilinan. Anthony’s character in Can’t Buy Me Love is an effortlessly funny guy with lots of antics whenever he’s faced with a crisis. Aside from being funny, he is a caring and supportive friend.

1. He is half-British and half-Filipino.
In an interview, Anthony stated that his father is British, and his mom is a Filipina. His full name is Anthony Michael Jennings. He mainly grew up with his grandparents in Negros Occidental. He also has two siblings. His favorite childhood memory? Playing at the beach and fishing with his lolo!
2. He went through a lot of rough patches in his life.
Anthony had a tough start in life. In an interview with Ogie Diaz, he recalled moving from one house to another and seeing his parents pay numerous debts for their family. And it took him years before landing a spot in Star Magic‘s pool of talents.
“Wala naman akong sinisisi sa parents ko, alam ko namang lahat ng ginawa nila para din naman sa amin. Dumating lang talaga sa na malas lang talaga kami. Minsan kinakapos na gano’n, wala nang pambayad sa upa, so lilipat na naman kami,” he openly shared.
3. He did not finish elementary school.
All the unfortunate events in his life resulted in him losing the opportunity to focus on his education. He revealed that he only finished the second grade (Grade 2) and did not even learn how to read and even to write.
“Hanggang elementary lang ‘yung natapos ko, siguro pinakamataas ko na, Grade 2 lang. ‘Yun na ‘yung max ko… Tapos hindi na ako nag-aral. Lipat na naman kami (ng bahay) Never na natuloy kasi sobrang dami nang nangyari. ‘Yun na ‘yung time na umuwi kami ng probinsya, nangisda ako, iba na naman gagawin ko, VTR, commercial naman,” he recalled.
Although it wasn’t entirely his fault that he never had the privilege to continue his studies until now, Anthony admits that his education was one of his biggest regrets in life. “Isa sa mga regrets ko na, bakit hindi ko ba ginawa ‘yun noon?” But now, to finish school is his top priority.
4. He auditioned for a role in ABS-CBN even if he didn’t know how to write.
“Hindi ako marunong magsulat. Pumunta ako sa ABS noon hindi ako marunong magsulat,” he revealed in a podcast.
Since he did not even finish elementary, Anthony had a hard time reading and writing throughout his teenage years. He admitted, “‘Yung pagbabasa kasi, natutunan ko nalang siya in the long run, tsaka pagsusulat. Parang kusa na lang.”
5. Belle Mariano and Gilian Vicencio are his batchmates in Star Magic Circle!
Anthony was first introduced as part of the Star Magic Circle 2019 alongside Belle Mariano, Gillian Vicencio, and many more.
6. He made his acting debut in Hello, Love, Goodbye.
It was in 2019 when Anthony starred in his first acting project and luckily, it was a blockbuster hit! Anthony played one of the supporting roles in Hello, Love, Goodbye (2019) together with Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards. He was Alden’s youngest brother in the film.
7. He had already starred in a movie for the Metro Manila Film Festival!
