This seems to be the case for some of our local celebrity dads who went on to have supersized families.
As we pay tribute to our well-loved fathers this month, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) lists down celebrity dads with the most number of kids.
LOU SALVADOR SR.
Number of Children: 102
The late Filipino basketball player Lou Salvador Sr. is said to have fathered over 100 children from as many as 49 women.
Some of his well-known children are Alona Alegre, Leroy Salvador, Mina Aragon, Phillip Salvador, Ross Rival, Juan Miguel Salvador, Emil Salvador, and Jumbo Salvador.
He recalled, “Hindi ka maniwala nabuo kami, 102 kami. Bale, 49 mothers. Di ba, namatay si Papang, nagdatingan lahat sila? Panahon na nina Ate Mina [Aragon] yun, producer na sila nung namatay Papa ko.”

In November 2011, writer Portia Ilagan told ABS-CBN in an interview that former actor-politician Ramon Revilla Sr. has fathered 72 children with 16 different women.
Portia, who served as the spokesperson of former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. at that time, added that only 38 were acknowledged and carry his surname.
Ramon Revilla Sr. has seven children with his late wife Azucena Mortel which includes Marlon, Rowena, Bong, Rebecca Bautista-Ocampo (Princess Revilla), Edwin (Strike Revilla), Andrea Bautista-Ynarez, and Dianne.
Meanwhile, Ramon has nine children with Genelyn Magsaysay including Ma. Ramona Belen (Mara), Ragene Anne, Ragelyn Gail, Ram Joshua, Ramon Joseph (RJ), Raphael Julius, Reuben, Ramlyn Gabrielle, and the late Ramgen Revilla.
Dolphy Quizon
Number of Children: 18
The King of Comedy Dolphy Quizon had 18 children with six different women.
He had six children with the late actress Engracia Dominguez, namely Manny, Sahlee, Rodolfo Jr. (Dolphy Jr.), Wilfredo (1956-2005), Edgardo, and Rolly (1959-2018); four kids with Gloria Smith, namely Mariquita (Kit), Carlos, Geraldino (Dino, 1972-2018), and Edwin.
He had another four with Pamela Ponti—Ronaldo (Ronnie), Enrico (Eric), Madonna (Donna), and Jeffrey (Epi).
In the 1960s, he had a son with Evangeline Tagulao named Rommel. In 1984, he had a child with Alma Moreno named Vandolph.
He and his long-time partner Zsa Zsa Padilla had a daughter named Zia, and an adopted daughter named Nicole.
JOSEPH ESTRADA
Number of Children: 10 to 12
Former Philippine President-turned-Manila Mayor has three children with his wife, former First Lady-turned-Senator Dr. Luisa “Loi” Pimentel. They are Sen. Jose (Jinggoy), Jacqueline, and Jude.
The 81-year-old former actor-turned-politician also has several children from his extra-marital affairs—Joel Eduardo (Jojo) and Teresita with Peachy Osorio, Sen. Jose Victor (JV) with San Juan City Mayor Guia Gomez; Jerika, Juan Emilio (Jake), and Jacob with Laarni Enriquez, and Jose Mari with Joy Melendrez.
Meanwhile, other sources including the12list.com and topten.ph say he also has a daughter named Joan, supposedly with Mary Ann Murphy, and a son named Jason with a flight attendant known as “Larena.”
JAY MANALO

Actor Jay Manalo confirmed in his interview with Dolly Anne Carvajal for Philippine Daily Inquirer that he has 11 children with six different women.
Jay has two daughters with his former San Sebastian schoolmate Maribel de Guzman, named Jaeandra Maree and Jaeriannetoni.
In 2003, Jay married his non-showbiz partner Raizza. The couple has three children namely Ann Jaenaisha Raine, Adrienne Riona Jaenylla Manalo, and Raiko Jaego Almighty.
Jay’s other known children are Jayenne Therese, Ashley Nicolette, Charmaine Joy, and Rica.
CHRISTOPHER DE LEON

In 1975, Christopher de Leon welcomed his firstborn son, Ian, with ex-wife Nora Aunor.
The former couple also adopted four other children—Matet, Lotlot, Kenneth, and Kiko—when they were still together.
Christopher and Nora’s marriage was annulled in 1996.
Currently, Christopher is happily married to actress Sandy Andolong.
The couple have five children: Rafael, Miguel, Gabriel, Mariel, and Mica.
GARDO VERSOZA

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Gardo admitted that he’s not quite sure how many children he has.
The 48-year-old Kapuso actor also revealed that he has yet to meet his children.
“Ang problema ay hindi ko alam kung nasaan sila. Nung time na dapat dadalawin ko yung isa sa Amerika, hindi natuloy yon.
“Sayang kasi gusto ko rin malaman kung ano na ba nangyayari sa buhay nila. Gusto ko rin siyang makilala.
“Sa pagkakaalam ko, nasa college na siya, e. Sayang at hindi kami nagkita. Pero ako naman, wala akong sinasarang pinto sa mga anak ko.
“Kung gusto nila akong makilala, alam naman nila kung saan nila ako matatagpuan. Hindi naman tayo nagtatago.”
Gardo and long-time partner Ivy Vicencio have a four-year-old son named Deity Uziel.

Master Rapper Francis Magalona served as a loving father to eight children, including Nicolo and Unna, Pia Magalona’s kids with her former partner.
