Ryan Bang had no choice but to explain after being grilled by colleagues Vhong Navarro and Ogie Alcasid.
Ogie talked about his alleged constant fighting with Kim Chiu.
Ryan, Kim, Vhong, and Ogie are together as co-hosts in the ABS-CBN noontime show It’s Showtime.
Ryan was a guest on Vhong’s YouTube vlog on January 14, 2024. Vhong’s co-host is Ogie.
At one point in the interview, Ogie yelled a question at Ryan.
“Why do you and Kim Chiu always fight?” asked Ogie.
Ryan vehemently denied it.
Vhong responded to Ogie’s question. It’s obvious that they want to roast and scold Ryan.
Vhong poked, “You two haven’t talked in a while, huh. It’s like three weeks too, ah.”
Vhong and Ogie can be seen holding back their laughter at what they did to expose Ryan.
Ryan defended. He made it clear that he and Kim are not enemies.
He said, “We never fight. The truth is, Kim and I are best friends.”
Ryan was forced to tell his story, and here he revealed what he had become “tempo” with Kim.
He said, “Because I was just favoring Kim. Kim because she got excited about my love life.
“Then when I searched there [It’s Showtime studio], I told you a story.
“But I want to keep it private because she’s not an actress, she’s my girlfriend, eh.
“Then Kimmy, with so much excitement, wanted to tell a story on Showtime. That’s all.”
He continued, “Well, I don’t want to talk about my girlfriend. Because of course, we are new. Of course, it’s also out of respect for his family.”
Vhong shared that maybe because of Kim’s excitement, she was able to tell her story to her colleagues on the show.
Ryan said, “I’m glad, Kimmy was just excited for us because we’re best friends.”
After that Ryan confronted Ogie, who was the first to broach the topic.
And then Ryan joked with Ogie like this: “You know, we [Kim] already had a fight, after this Kuya Ogie and I.”
In the episode of It’s Showtime on August 29, 2023, Ryan announced that he is in a relationship with a non-showbiz girl.
Part of Ryan’s announcement, “I want to tell my [It’s] Showtime family, in front of you, Mommy, Daddy, my brother, my sister, Tyang, that I have a girlfriend.”
Ryan’s co-hosts were happy with his new love life because he has been single for several years.
Ryan’s non-showbiz girlfriend was identified as Paola Grace Huyong who is also with the hosts in their walks.
