Anjo Yllana said he’s open to returning to the longest-running Philippine noontime “Eat Bulaga” if he is asked to host it again.
During the press conference of “Itutumba Ka ng Tatay Ko,” Yllana gave a direct answer on coming back to the noontime variety show, saying, “Oo naman, game ako diyan.”
The actor-host resigned from “Eat Bulaga” in 2020 to host another noontime show in another network.
When asked if there were ill feelings between him and the hosting trio of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, collectively known as TVJ, when he left the show, Yllana gave an honest answer: “Hindi ko naitanong.
Despite the possibility of resentment between them, Yllana noted that their friendship goes beyond and can survive that.
The former EB host shared that he has been in communication with his past co-hosts, but they do not talk about their feelings, as he noted that he is happy for TVJ’s triumph in the trademark ownership battle against TAPE and GMA.
Though, happy ako dahil nanalo na sila,” he expressed.
Yllana justified the victory of the hosting trio, saying that they are the rightful owners of “Eat Bulaga” given the history they had with it that goes way back.
Karapat-dapat talaga ang Tito, Vic and Joey na magdala ng Eat Bulaga,” he added.
