Ryan Gosling
The male celebrity that Paul joked about kissing was Ryan Gosling.
During an interview with MTV, he listed Ryan‘s movie Blue Valentine as “one of my favorite films” and recalled crying while watching it. “I probably start crying from 40 minutes in, and then it doesn’t really stop,” he admitted.
He continued, adding that the movie “works so well is because you’ve got this light and dark. Like the reason it’s so upsetting is because you’ve got this wonderful, complex love story put between it.”
Paul added that he was “a big fan of The Notebook,” Ryan‘s movie with Rachel McAdams.
“Ryan Gosling can do no wrong,” he said, adding, “Like, I wanna kiss Ryan Gosling in the rain.”
This is a reference to one of the most iconic scenes in The Notebook.
