Months after their breakup, social media is still full of theories concerning the *real reason* of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s fallout.
Other people are even brought into the mix, including Gillian Vicencio—who was speculated to be *one* of the third parties linked to Daniel.
Gillian Vicencio Speaks Up On Rumors Linking Her To Daniel Padilla
In an interview, she made a concerted effort to shut down the speculations. “Nagulat po ako. Wala naman pong nangyari na ganun. First time ko po magkaroon ng ganung issue.”
She also said the rumors have *no basis* at all, and she even took the time to personally explain her side to Kath.
She cleared that there’s no bad blood between her and the ex-couple—saying that she’s game to work with either of them on a future project. “Project po ‘yun. Kailangan ng pera. Oo naman, kasi wala naman [malice].”
Asked about the last time she was in contact with Daniel, she coolly replied, “Hindi naman po kami nag-uusap. Nung taping lang talaga kami nakakapag-usap [as a group].”
On how she was holding up amidst controversy, Gillian said it’s no easy task.
Despite everything, she stands her ground against bashers. “I cannot control the minds of other people. At least I know myself and my truth,” she declared.
As of current, Gillian is busy taping for the new series What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, where she stars alongside Kim Chiu, Paolo Avelino, Joem Bascon, and other artists.
