RYAN LAHIFF FOR SOTHEBYS INTERNATIONAL REALTY
Emma Stone has a lot to celebrate right now—and, no, we’re not just referring to her Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of Bella in Poor Things. After putting her Los Angeles abode on the market for $3.995 million less than two weeks ago, the home has officially found a new buyer.
Eric Lavey, who represented the listing through Sotheby’s International Realty—Beverly Hills’s brokerage, declined to share the negotiated price; however, he did tell The Wall Street Journal the home received multiple offers and had over 100 people attend its open house. (Since Los Angeles recently enacted its mansion tax, which adds a four percent transfer tax to home sales above $5 million, there is a growing demand for less expensive properties.)
Price point isn’t the only draw to Stone’s former home, which is located in Comstock Hills, a suburban enclave in the city’s Westwood neighborhood. Built in 1926, the 3,276-square-foot, Spanish-style home is packed with character. Unlike the sleek spaces celebrities typically call home, this pad is decked out with exposed beams, pops of color, and a tiled courtyard that’s original to the residence. Though Stone renovated the home when she purchased it in 2019—she reportedly expanded the kitchen and added a guest house—she chose to keep its historic features intact. A star-studded home that has a story? Sounds like a property design-savvy buyers would fall in (crazy, stupid) love with.
Now that Stone has offloaded her old digs, what’s next for the star? While only time will tell where the actress will end up, you can check out her dazzling real-estate portfolio until then.
