Celebrities usually like to keep the details of their sex lives under wraps — but sometimes they’re willing to spill a little bit of tea. In fact, some stars have actually spilled all about their experiences with one-night stands. From the good to the bad to the straight-up surprising, these celebs have revealed what went down with their one-time hookup. Here’s what these stars had to say about their one-night stands…
Teddi Mellencamp claims she once had a one-night stand with Matt Damon when she was in her early 20s. While she was hesitant to reveal his name at first, her “Two T’s in a Pod” co-host, Tamra Judge, was ready to drop hints. After she revealed his initials were “M.D.” most people had it figured out. “He was probably 30 — ten years older. I only slept with him one night. He didn’t get my number,” Teddi shared on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live.”
Back in 2007, Khloé Kardashian says she had a one-night stand with a man she met while in Australia. The pair were both Down Under for an award show and Khloé expected it to be a brief encounter — except the man kept trying to contact her after she went home! “I met a guy who was performing at the MTV Awards, hooked up with him here and left,” Khloé said in a video on her website. “He had to leave town and we both didn’t live here, we all came here for the awards. I went back to [Los Angeles], and all of a sudden he’s calling me, IMing me, instant messaging me on AOL — back in the day — he was like, ‘I finally came out to L.A., I want to have a relationship with you.’ And I was like, ‘Malika, is this normal?!’ ”
In her book, “The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo,” Amy Schumer revealed that she’s only had one one-night stand in her life. She says it all went down while she was on tour and met “the most beautiful man” she’d ever seen — a British “six-foot-two-inch strapping strawberry blond.” When the pair ended up sitting next to each other on a plane, they chatted throughout the flight and Amy invited him to meet up after her show that night. The man later joined Amy at her hotel for what she says was one of the “best nights of [her] life.” “When we were finished, I told him it was perfect and that I would never have a one-night stand again because it would pale in comparison. We kissed good-bye, and I went to sleep with the biggest smile on my face, thinking, Thank you,” Amy wrote.
In the ’90s, Lisa Rinna says she had a one-night stand with her “Days of Our Lives” co-star Patrick Muldoon — who played her brother on the show! Looking back, Rinna admits the hook up happened a few times but it was definitely a funny situation considering their on-screen relationship. “Having an affair with the guy who played my brother! Well, not an affair, but a couple of one-night stands with the guy who [played] my brother. Patrick Muldoon and I had like, a thing,” Lisa said on the “PEOPLE in the 90s” podcast.
Cole Sprouse says he’s definitely a relationship person but admits the night he lost his virginity, it was actually a one-night stand. During a family trip to Florida when he was 14, Cole met another teen and after getting to know her over a few days, he invited her back to his room. “We went down to the beach. We were on some chaise lounges. I looked at her, finally mustered up enough courage…I looked at her and was like, ‘Are you like, DTF?’” Cole shared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, adding that the whole thing “lasted about 20 seconds” and he “never talked to her again.”
Way before “Vanderpump Rules” star Katie Maloney was married to Tom Schwartz, she says she had a one-night stand Brian Carter — who went on to date her co-star Kristen Doute. Looking back, she says it all went down after meeting at a birthday party at a nightclub. “[It was] 2008, I was at a club with some friends — it was a birthday — and I met Carter… and then I slept with him,” Katie said during a “Vanderpump Rules” after-show. “This was a billion years ago. This was like, two years before I met Tom. There was a lot of stuff in between this. I had a great single life! Carter was literally like, one of my only one night stands.”
Claire Danes once had a one-night stand — and it ended up leading to her marriage to Hugh Dancy. When she first met Hugh, she says she had feelings for him but had just been in back-to-back relationships, so she wanted some time to be single. She ended up going out with another man, with whom she had a one-night stand, and she says it made her realize she had true feelings for Hugh. “I had one one-night stand, and that was it. My palate was cleansed, and [I] went back and filmed the movie, realized, ‘Oh s–t, I think I’m gonna marry this person and the end of my life as a single person was realized,” she said on the “Armchair Expert” podcast.Sam Smith says that through the years, they’ve had quite a few one-night stands. Looking back, they admit the experiences weren’t great and they ended up meeting some “dodgy friends.” “I had a lot of one-night stands. I met a few dodgy friends, people I’m definitely not friends with now,” Sam told Rolling Stone.
Mario Lopez admits that he once had a one-night stand with a “mega pop star.” He recounted the experience in his memoir “Just Between Us,” but didn’t actually name who he hooked up with. During an appearance on “The Ellen Show,” Mario confirmed that it went down in Las Vegas while they were both attending the same event. Although he didn’t name names, many have speculated that it was Britney Spears. “I’m trying not to give too much away without giving too much away. It was maybe six or seven years ago…eight years ago?” Mario shared during the 2014 appearance. “We’re friendly still.”
Long before Jessica Alba tied the knot with her husband Cash Warren, she admitted that she was sometimes a fan of one night stands. In a 2005 interview, Jessica said that she thought it was important to get to know lots of people — even if it was only briefly. “I just wanted to see what it was like to be with different people. I don’t think a girl’s a slut if she enjoys sex. I could have a one-night stand, and I’m the kind of girl who looks over in the morning and is like, ‘Do you really have to be here?’ I don’t need to cuddle and do all that stuff because I know what it is and I don’t try to make it more,” Jessica told Cosmopolitan. “I feel like a lot of women try to make it into more, so they don’t feel so bad about just wanting to have sex. I don’t really have a problem with just wanting sex. Never have.”
